Yes, we all love Showtime’s Dexter. But the character of Dexter Morgan had his fans long before Showtime decided to air a television series about him.

Writer Jeff Lindsay first breathed life into the character in his novel, Darkly Dreaming Dexter. He’s since written a host of other books starring the character. I’ve only read two of these books so far, but both of them have been every bit as entertaining as has the show.

So surf on over here and check out Dexter’s literary incarnation. You’ll be glad you did.
